Mojo Monday Card

It's time for another card using the Mojo Monday weekly sketch! While everyone else is probably busy creating Christmas cards, I used the sketch this week to make a birthday card. My mother, my younger brother and my son all have birthdays in the month of December. Mom's birthday is first, so I made her card using this week's sketch:

I used some retired Close To My Heart paper out of my overflowing paper stash. The paper and sentiment are from the Floral Tapestry kit. I used Twilight and Cranberry cardstocks, and twilight ribbon. I think it's a little hard to see in the photo, I sponged the edges of the vanilla cream cardstock with twilight ink. I'm anxious to see next week's sketch, to get a card ready for my son, he's the next in line to celebrate a birthday, and it's his 21st, so we'll celebrate big this year! I'm off to the post office now, gotta get this card to Texas before the weekend, thanks for stopping by!
